John Baldino is the founder and president of Humareso, a human resources consulting and talent management firm focused on helping organizations align people strategy, leadership, culture, and business growth. With more than 35 years of human resources and workplace leadership experience, John is widely recognized for bringing a practical, human-centered approach to the evolving world of work.

A nationally recognized HR thought leader, John advises organizations on talent strategy, organizational culture, leadership development, employee experience, recruiting, workforce transformation, succession planning, and the intersection of technology and humanity in the workplace. His work spans organizations of all sizes and industries, helping leaders navigate growth, change, engagement, and the realities of modern work.

John is a frequent keynote speaker, panel moderator, workshop facilitator, and conference presenter across the United States and internationally. He is also the co-host of the popular workplace podcast “But First, Coffee” alongside Jackye Clayton, where they explore leadership, culture, technology, employee engagement, and the future of work through candid and insightful conversations.

In addition to hosting and guesting on dozens of podcasts and industry programs, John’s writing and perspectives have been featured in HR and business publications including The Wall Street Journal, Recruiter.com, SixFifty Insights, HR Matters Magazine, and Fast Company. His thought leadership continues to shape conversations around workplace culture, leadership, recruiting, AI, and the human side of work.

In 2025, John was recognized as one of HR Executive’s Top 100 HR Tech Influencers for his impact on the future of work, HR innovation, and people strategy. He was also previously named the Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year and HR Consultant of the Year.

John holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Development from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Arts in English with minors in Education and Communications from Saint Joseph’s University. He also maintains both the SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.
