Josh Smith

Josh joined our firm as Director of Innovation in 2023 to help Haefele Flanagan and our clients bridge the gap between technology and operations. With a deep understanding of both the technical and business sides — including accounting, finance, and day-to-day operations — Josh is able to design solutions that not only work, but make sense for the way a business runs.

He specializes in quickly learning how organizations operate, identifying pain points, and building practical solutions that improve efficiency and deliver measurable results. Whether it’s automating processes, developing custom tools, or creating dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights, Josh is focused on making technology approachable and valuable for every user.

Above all, Josh believes that technology should simplify work — not complicate it. His approach is rooted in creating solutions that are easy to use, easy to maintain, and tailored to the real needs of the business.

Outside of the office, Josh enjoys spending time with his family — especially playing with his daughter and hosting game nights with his wife and friends. He’s an avid sports fan, enjoys grilling, and rarely passes up the chance for a good escape room challenge. Josh is also a competitive athlete, playing on one of the top wheelchair rugby teams in the country.
