An entrepreneur himself, Hal is passionate about the contributions that business owners make to economic growth, standard of living, skill advancement, and community development. In order to help owners achieve their business and personal goals, he founded Trilogy Partners, a consulting and advisory firm in 2009. At Trilogy, Hal and other advisors helped business owners through services such as strategic planning, financial guidance and leadership development.

In 2021, Trilogy Partners merged with hfco to provide even more outcomes for clients. Hal’s years of expertise across industries bring seasoned, real world perspective to hfco and its clients.

When he’s not working, Hal enjoys golf, bridge, gardening, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughter. Most recently, Hal founded and serves as president of the Small Business Mentorship Initiative (SBMI), whose mission is to instill hope, success, and independence to small business owners by providing mentorship and education.
