Starting in 2022, you must file quarterly returns and must do so online on the Philadelphia Tax Center. They will no longer accept paper returns. Your first filing due date in the new schedule is May 2, 2022.
Before you can file Wage Tax, you will need to:   Create a username and password and request a verification letter.   It may take 5-10 business days to receive the letter. Since the filing due date is approaching, we encourage you to start using the Tax Center now.

The filing frequency changed, but you must continue to make Wage Tax payments with the same frequency as before.   Payments must also be made online on the Philadelphia Tax Center. They no longer accept Wage Tax payments on their old website, or by ACH Debit (over the phone).

If you have questions about Wage Tax, contact your tax professional or you can email revenue@phila.gov or call (215) 686-6600.
