QuickBooks Desktop to Stop Selling to New U.S. Subscribers
Intuit has made a decision that after Sept. 30, 2024, it will no longer sell new subscriptions to U.S. subscribers of the following products:
- QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Mac Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll
Existing subscribers are not impacted by this change. Existing QuickBooks Desktop Plus and Desktop Payroll subscribers can continue to renew their subscriptions after Sept. 30, 2024*. Intuit will continue to provide security updates, product updates, and support for existing subscribers.
QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise products are also not impacted by this change and customers can continue to purchase Enterprise subscriptions after Sept. 30, 2024.
Here are some top questions you may have regarding this change:
Q: What regions are affected by this QuickBooks Desktop announcement?
This decision applies to the United States only.
Q: What are the best Intuit accounting software options to purchase after Sept. 30, 2024?
We encourage you to consider QuickBooks Online, a cloud-based accounting software that is accessible from anywhere at any time.
Q: Where can I learn more about migrating my QuickBooks Desktop files? How can I migrate from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online?
QuickBooks Online provides many great benefits over Desktop such as remote access, enhanced flexibility and real-time collaboration.
We encourage customers on QuickBooks Desktop to consider migrating to QuickBooks Online where you will always be on the most current version with the flexibility to work from anywhere, so you can spend less time at the office and get more done.
